ThreadPing ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Saucon Software LLC. We provide a Reddit keyword monitoring and AI reply drafting service accessible at ThreadPing.org. You can contact us at nathan@sauconsoftware.com.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and account details, managed by Clerk (our authentication provider).
- Monitor configuration: Keywords, subreddits, product descriptions, and reply templates you create.
- Reddit matches: Public Reddit post titles, body text, author usernames, and URLs that match your monitors. This is publicly available data from Reddit.
- AI-generated drafts: Reply drafts generated by the Anthropic Claude API based on your monitor settings.
- Billing information: Subscription and payment data managed by Stripe. We never store your full card number.
- API keys (Starter plan): If you use the Starter plan, your Anthropic API key is stored in our database to generate drafts on your behalf.
- Usage data: Basic logs including scan activity and error reports for service reliability.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and deliver the ThreadPing service
- To scan Reddit and identify posts matching your monitors
- To generate AI-powered reply drafts via the Anthropic API
- To send Discord notifications when matches are found
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To respond to support requests
- To improve and debug the service
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services to operate ThreadPing:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management. Privacy Policy
- Stripe — Payment processing. Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — AI reply generation. Reddit post content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate drafts. Privacy Policy
- MongoDB Atlas — Database hosting (MongoDB, Inc.).
- Reddit — We read publicly available Reddit posts via Reddit's public API. We do not store Reddit passwords or private data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Reddit match records are kept indefinitely unless you delete them manually or close your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes all associated data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. For additional requests, contact us at nathan@sauconsoftware.com.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and encrypted payment processing via Stripe. API keys stored for the Starter plan are stored in our database with access controls. We recommend you rotate your API keys periodically.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice.
